with its contract operators and customers to ensure that each shipment
is picked up and delivered on time and to their specifications. From large
corporations to very small companies, we give each account the
attention and care that builds repeat business throughout the year. Our
philosophy is simply to provide the best service in the business. Great
service comes from great people. Alta uses the best Owner operators in
the business. Our dispatch and support staff coordinates loads in the
most efficient manner possible. We have a partnership approach and
treat our clients and drivers as our most important partners. Premium
service allows us to charge a premium price. With Alta, you get paid some
of the highest rates in the industry. We believe in compensating our
operators fairly for their hard work and commitment to our customers. We
pay a percentage of revenue on each load. If the customer pays for
premium service, it's more money to you. We are confident that you will
earn more revenue per load on our loads than you will make with carriers
that pay on a mileage basis.
At Alta, you get 75% of gross revenue for your tractor. Tractor and trailers
earn 80% of gross revenue. And Owner operators with their own
operating authority and insurance 90% of gross revenues
is paid to the truck. Alta pays their operators promptly through a quick
pay program. (The Day of delivery) We don’t hold your money and use it
for our own purposes. Settlements are paid upon completion of trips and
the turning in of proof of delivery. ALTA offers its operators the support
they need from a well-run carrier with a proven track record. We will
